About Chris Hickman:
             Chris retired from the Great Falls Police Department after 31 years of service where he served in a variety of functions including Accident Investigator, Patrol Officer, Warrants Officer, Patrol Supervisor, Crime Prevention Supervisor, Narcotics Investigator and Drug Task Force Commander.  In 2013, he received the Officer of the Year Award from the Montana Narcotics Officers Association as a result of his work in the illicit narcotics investigations field.    Chris was a member of the Great Falls Police Department High Risk Unit (also known as SWAT), served as a supervisor in several areas within the department, performed employment background investigations, conducted internal investigations, participated in the hiring process, taught Law Related Education at the primary and secondary school level and was an instructor in leadership, ground fighting and mobile video surveillance.  He completed the DEA-sponsored Drug Investigator School, Task Force Drug Task Force Commander school and was certified as a clandestine laboratory eradication specialist and clandestine laboratory safety officer. 
              He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Montana State University and has worked with the Department of Child and Family Services and the Great Falls Pre-Release Center since his retirement from the police department.   He received extensive training throughout his professional career and has participated in thousands of investigations from theft to homicide.  He has been praised by his superiors for excellent written and oral communications as well as for his tenacity and thoroughness.

             Chris has testified in hundreds of criminal, civil and family court cases, has written and executed hundreds of search warrants and is well versed in legal matters.  He has worked closely with judges, prosecutors, private attorneys, public defenders and numerous public and private agencies and organizations at all levels of federal and state government. 
             Chris is thorough, inquisitive and conscientious by nature.  He believes in objectivity, integrity and honor.   He believes in providing a fair and balanced service to clients who all have individual needs and objectives.  Chris has a unique advantage in the private investigation field due to his professional experiences, the many relationships he has built with individuals and organizations throughout the state and country and because of his familiarity with the legal landscape in Cascade County as well as the entire state of Montana.   
              Chris has been married to his wife, Kathleen for over 25 years.   Kathleen is an entrepreneur in Great Falls and heavily involved in the community as a volunteer and business person along with being a yoga and ski instructor.   Chris and Kathleen have a son in the Great Falls public school district who is an accomplished student, musician, athlete, outdoors man and entrepreneur along with being an Eagle Scout.  When Chris is not working, he enjoys traveling, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and volunteering as a Boy Scout Leader.
